စကားေျပာအတုိအထြာ အမွတ္စဥ္ (၁)

ဒီ ပုိ႔စ္မွာ Helping Verbs အုပ္စုေတြထဲက BE ႏွင့္ပတ္သက္ျပီး Spoken English မွာ အသုံးျပဳပုံ တင္ျပေပးပါမယ္။
Questions with auxiliaries
- Verb to Be (am, is, are, was, were)
- Verb to Do (do, does, did)
- Verb to Have (has, have)
- Modal Verbs (can, could, shall, should, will, would, may, might, must)
ဒီ Auxiliaries လုိ႔ေခၚတဲ့ အကူၾကိယာေတြဟာ စကားေျပာရာတြင္ အလြန္အသုံးဝင္ေသာေၾကာင့္ တစ္လုံးခ်င္းရဲ့ အသုံးျပဳပုံကုိ အေသးစိတ္ေလ့လာသင့္ပါတယ္။
1. BE (ျဖစ္သည္/ ရွိသည္။ ျဖစ္သလား/ ရွိသလား။)
ဥပမာ-
- You are an engineer.
- Are you an engineer? (Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.)
- Aren’t you a doctor?
- He is a teacher.
- Is he a teacher?
- Yes, he is or No, he isn’t/ he’s not)
- She is my sister.
Is she your sister? Yes, she is or No, she isn’t/ she’s not)
- They are from Yangon. Are they from Yangon? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
- They are working. Are they working? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
- She is in Yangon. Is she in Yangon? Yes, she is or No, she’s not or she isn’t.
- Isn’t he in Mandalay? Or Aren’t you in Sagaing?
- He’s hungry. Is he hungry? Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t or he’s not.
- You’re OK. Are you OK? Yes, I’m OK. / No, I’m not.
- Aren’t you happy?
ပုိျပီး ကြ်မ္းက်င္လာေအာင္ ေအာက္ပါတုိ႔ကုိ အဂၤလိပ္လုိ ေျပာၾကည့္ပါ။
- မင္းေပ်ာ္သလား။
- အိမ္ေထာင္ရွိလား။
- စိတ္ဆုိးေနလား။
- ပ်င္းေနလား။
- ျပင္ဦးလြင္ကလား။
- အိပ္ခ်င္ေနလား။
- ကားေမာင္းတတ္လား။
